Prices of fruit in Moscow

In the first half of the last week, on the Moscow market it was noted a drop in prices for avocados from South Africa. Reduction in production was mainly due to increased supplies of the product of the Southern Hemisphere. Price reduced from 110 (2,82 EUR) to 103 rubles (2,64 EUR) per kg.

In the middle of the week on the Moscow market the prices of mandarins from Argentina was reducing from 45 (1,15 EUR) to 35 rubles (0,90 EUR) per kg. Experts explain this phenomenon a significant increase in supply in the market over the past two weeks.

By the end of the week experts also noted the changes in prices in the segment of citrus fruits. In general, this was due to the increase / decrease in the amount of the product on the market and demand. For example, the price of grapefruit from Israel rose from 40 (1,03 EUR) to 42 rubles (1,08 EUR) per kg. The price of oranges from Turkey, on the contrary, decreased from 35 (0,90 EUR) to 30 rubles (0,77 EUR) per kg, of lemon from Argentina - from 52 (1,33 EUR) to 45 rubles (1,15 EUR) per kg.

In the middle of the week on a background of general decline in prices occurred cheaper Polish apples. The specialists reported a decline of the initial price of 25 (0,64 EUR) to 20 rubles (0,51 EUR) per kg as against the increase in commodity supply in Moscow.

But on Friday, members of the produce market noted the decrease of banana in Moscow, and as a consequence, prices for this product. The average price rose from 31 (0,80 EUR) to 34 rubles (0,87 EUR) per kg.
