Prices of onions

The higher supply of onions on the market caused the decrease of their purchase prices. At the beginning of this week the greatest decline in prices was noted in podlaskie province where in purchasing centres price of onions was 0.21 EUR/kg while last week price was 0.25 EUR/kg.

In podkarpackie province last week some companies were paying 0.18 EUR/kg and this week prices are lower by 0.03 EUR/kg. In łódzkie province and in małopolskie province prices of onions have stayed at the stable level adequately 0.25 EUR/kg and 0.21 EUR/kg. Last year average prices of onions are higher by about 0.06 EUR/kg.
