Prices of raspberries – exception to the this year’s rule

Purchase prices of raspberries, in spite of little fluctuation, have been staying at the stable level of about 1.22 EUR/kg. In lubelskie province, on Tuesday, August 12th raspberries were being bought at price 1.25 - 1.28 EUR/kg.

So it seems that prices of raspberries are an exception relating to this year's purchase prices of different fruits. Purchase prices of raspberries have been staying at the last year's level (in the same period of last year price was about 1.26 EUR/kg), while purchase prices of currants, sour cherries, apples for processing or plums are drastically lower in comparison with prices of last year when crops were very bad. This year’s prices of fruits with exception of raspberries are even lower than average price of several last years.
