Prices of watermelons

On Tuesday, September 16th the minimum price of watermelons was at level of 0.24- 0.26 EUR/kg. It was the price of watermelons imported from Ukraine available on the wholesale markets in Bronisze, Sandomierz, Łódź, Piła and Rzeszów.

The highest price on these markets was 0.29 – 0.35 EUR/kg. The highest price of watermelons at level of 0.35 – 0.44 EUR/kg was in Poznań, Białystok, Lublin and Elbląg. For comparison, on the Dutch wholesale market watermelons imported from Spain cost 0.40 - 0.45 euro/kg and watermelons imported from Brazil 0.60 - 0.65 euro/kg.
