Purchase of sour cherries – low prices

The purchase of sour cherries for processing have been lasting for a few days and quantity of bought sour cherries is slowly rising. However purchase prices are keeping steady and nothing shows that they will grow.

On Friday, July 11th prices ranged from 0.24 to 0.37 EUR/kg depending on region of Poland. As regards dessert sour cherries (with stem) their price ranged from 0.61 to 0.76 EUR/kg. Price of sour cherries of the best quality intended for export was about 1.16 EUR/kg.
