Season on kiwifruit from Greece is starting to develop.

The season for Greek kiwifruit has started for good. This year, the local growers did not have any major production problems, so it can already be seen that a calm, stable season in terms of supply and price awaits us.

The import of fruit to Poland is growing. The importers' offer of kiwifruit has increased significantly in the last week, a similar situation takes place in retail chains. At the same time prices are slowly falling.

And what are the prices of these fruits? In the last week, kiwi prices fell on average by 8% per kilo. Currently, kiwis from Greece in 1 kg  baskets can be bought at a price from 8,60 to 11,16 EUR for 10 kg cardboard (0,86 - 1,12 EUR/kg gross). Loose kiwis are slightly more expensive, i.e. from 10.00 to 13,95 EUR per 10 kg cardboard (1,00 - 1,40 EUR/kg gross). Apart from kiwis from Greece, some importers also offer fruit from Italy, but at a higher price than their Greek counterparts, i.e. at a price of 1,51 EUR - 1,74 EUR per kilogram.
