Slight decrease in carrot’s price

Prices of carrot had remained stable for several weeks. However last days one could observe slight decrease in prices (by 0.05 PLN (0.012 euro)/kg) to 0.60 – 0.65 PLN (0.15-0.16 euro)/kg. It was due to seasonal bigger supply. Additionally prices of domestic carrot are influenced by prices of carrot in Holland. This country is the main supplier of carrot to Polish market. Last week prices of carrot on Dutch market were at the level 1.30-1.50 euro/10 kg.
