Sour cherries: prices below the profitability level

Purchase prices of sour cherries are still decreasing. In podkarpackie province trading companies are buying sour cherries for deep-freezing at price 0.25 - 0.28 EUR/kg and for juice concentrate at price 0.19 -0.22 EUR/kg.

Purchase prices are lower by 0.03 - 0.06 EUR/kg in comparison with those of last week. Purchase prices of sour cherries intended to fresh market are at level of 0.47 – 0.56 EUR/kg.
