Spanish export of strawberries

Last year Spanish producers exported 266,5 thousand tons of strawberries. In 2012 it was 287,9 thousand tons.

Of course, the main importers of Spanish fruits are countries from European Union which imported 256,8 thousand tons. Countries from outside of EU imported only 9,6 thousand tons.

The average export price of Spanish fruits was at the level of EUR 1,75 / kg.

Germany was the biggest importer of strawberries from Spain - 85,9 thousand tons. Second place took France with 61,6 thousand tons.
