Stable market of melons

Importers say that demand for melons is quite good. This is why it can be said that the situation on the market of melons remain stable.

Prices of melons of Galia variety have increased at 7% during last month and currently it is 42.00 - 46.00 PLN for fruits in size 5 (8.40 - 9.20 PLN/ piece). Variety Cantaloupe got cheaper at 11%. In small wholesale cost 38.00 - 44.00 PLN in size 5 (7.60 - 8.80 PLN/ piece).

Green melons of Piel de Sapo variety cost 55.00 - 60.00 PLN (size 5-7). Price remain stable. Yellow melons are more expensive (at about 6%) and now their price is at the level of 55.00 - 60.00 PLN for fruits in size 6 and 9 (7.43 - 8.29 PLN/piece).
