Stable prices of carrot

Last year situation on the carrot market did not repeat. At the end of previous season the prices of carrot were increasing very quickly. In the current season prices of this vegetable remain stable.  The price of washed carrots is from 0.70 PLN (0.17 €)/kg to 1.20 PLN (0.29 €)/kg depending on quality and the way of handling. Moreover there is regional variation in prices - the most expensive carrot is near Warsaw. However, the price of carrots may still go up. Some traders indicated an increased demand for carrots last days.
