Still low supply of cauliflowers

Due to adverse weather – rain and cold - the supply of cauliflowers is still low and their quality is relatively poor. On Tuesday, August 31 the prices of cauliflowers started from 2.00 PLN (0.50 euro)/pcs. in lubelskie province. In other areas of Poland prices were 2.50-3.00 PLN (0.62-0.75 euro)/pcs. The purchase of cauliflowers for processing has already started. The demand is quite big and prices are at the level 1.05 – 1.15 PLN (0.26-0.29 euro)/kg.
