Still too little early carrots

On Thursday, June 26th price of early carrots was stable at the level of 0,56 EUR/kg. In spite of growing supply of domestic early carrots, there is still too little product to meet domestic and export demand.

Early crop of carrots is almost finished and due to the drought the vegetation of vegetables (including carrots) of later crops is delayed. As a result the weather is key factor for fluctuations of supply of carrot. This is also true for other fruit and vegetables.
