Strawberry jam more expensive

Even though in 2008 the purchase prices of berry fruit were lower than in 2007, the prices of preserves of these fruits increased.

It was probably caused by higher production costs. For example in October 2008 the trade price of strawberry jam in processing plants was 8.50 PLN (2.04 euro)/kg, while in October 2007 the price was 8.07 PLN/kg.
