The end of plums season

Last week in surroundings of Krosno (podkarpckie province) the purchase price of plums was 0.46 euro/kg.

This year's season the purchase prices of eating plums were the half lower than in 2007. The average price was 0.33 euro/kg, while last year price was 0.69 euro/kg. It is result of twice higher harvests of plums which were assessed by GUS (the Central Statistical Office) at the level of 105 thousand ton.
