The increase in vegetable prices in Ukraine

Fruits and vegetables are about 22 percent more expensive before Christmas-New-Year break. The most significant price increase will apply to traditional vegetables and potatoes. It remains relatively vegetables fairly cheap. This is due to the fact that the reference level - prices last year, was very low.

Fruit prices will increase by about 20 percent. Ukrainian consumers will have to pay more for fruit than vegetables. Again, this is due to the fact that at the end of last year in Ukraine vegetables are historically cheap, and the fruit had higher prices.
