The Polish market is still dominated by grapes from Italy in all possible colors and varieties

As in recent seasons, this year's season for Italian grapes promises to be slightly extended. Two years ago, in the 2016 season, at this time of the year, the offers of importers already hosted grapes from the southern corners of the world. Red Globe grapes from Peru were already available for purchase at the end of November and bright grapes from Chile appeared at the beginning of December. A year ago  it was different. Grapes from Italy were available until the end of the year, this year promises to be similar.

Prices have been stable for some time now and will remain so for the time being. Since the offer of grapes has been enriched with winter confectionery, nothing has changed in terms of prices. Light grapes in winter confection can be bought at a price from 11,62 EUR to even 14,00 EUR per 7 kg cardboard box (1,66- 2,00 EUR/kg gross). In the case of dark grapes the situation is similar. The last one in the summer edition costs 8,14 - 9,30 EUR for 7 kg cardboard (1,16- 1,33 EUR/kg gross), and in the winter edition from 9,77 EUR  to even 12,33 EUR for 7 kg cardboard (1,40- 1,76 EUR/kg gross).

In the case of Turkish small fruit grapes, the situation is slightly different. Here, the supply of fruit shrinks quite quickly and the ending season is clearly visible. At the same time, prices have recently increased by several percent per kilo and so nowadays, fruits are offered in small wholesale by direct importers at a price from 8,14 to even 11,63 EUR per 5 kg cardboard box (1,63 EUR- 2,33 EUR/kg gross).
