Too little onions

Traders are looking for dry onions produced from winter sowing. Low price of onions in the previous season caused that many producers reduced production.

Last year production of onions was very high and reached 753 thousand tons. It was the biggest level during last five years. Presently in export companies in mazowieckie province purchase price of onions are at level of 0.24 EUR/kg i.e. by 0.03 EUR/kg more than last year.
