Very high prices of parsley

Prices of roots of parsley without leaves stay at very high level in entire Poland. Many companies are buying the cheaper parsnip in order to replace expensive parsley with cheaper parsnip.

In podkarpackie province price of parsley in bags of 10 kg is 0.90 – 1.05 EUR/kg while prices of parsnip in bags of 10 kg are lower by 0.30 – 0.45 EUR/kg. Last year prices of parsley were 0.78 - 0.90 EUR/kg and prices of parsnip were 0.54 – 0.60 EUR/kg.
