Very low price of Chinese cabbage

Russian ban on UE vegetables caused collapse of vegetable market in Poland, especially as regards products which are normally exported to Russia like Chinese cabbage. Prices of this product were low earlier but after closing Russian border they fell to extremely low level. Few companies which are still buying Chinese cabbage are able to pay only 0.40 PLN (0.10 euro)/kg. Near Warsaw the purchase price is higher - 0.90 PLN (0.23 euro)/kg but demand is very little.
