Last week purchase and export of apples was influenced by severe winter conditions. Many purchasing companies stopped buying industrial apples, in others prices were from 0.65 PLN/kg to 0.75 PLN (0.16-0.19 euro)/kg.
Export was also reduced mainly duet to difficulties with transport. The purchase prices of apples intended for export remained stable. Prices of red apples were as follows: 1.10-1.20 PLN (0.28-0.30 euro)/kg for 60+, 1.30-1.50 PLN (0.33-0.38 euro)/kg for 70+, 1.50-1.60 PLN (0.38-0.41 euro)/kg for 75 +,1.60-1.70 PLN (0.41-0.43 euro)/kg for size 80 +. The prices of Gala were 1.40 PLN/kg for 60+ and 1.50-1.60 PLN/kg for 65+ and 1.80-2.00 PLN/kg for 70+. The price of Golden Delicious (70+) was also 1.80-2.00 PLN (0.46-0.50 euro)/kg /kg.
The purchase price of pears for export remained stable from the beginning of the season. The price of Conference was from 2.00 (0.50 euro)/kg for size 50+ to 2.50-2.70 PLN (0.63-0.68 euro)/kg for size 65+. Price of Lucas was 2.00-2.20 PLN (0.50-0.56 euro)/kg for size 55+/60+ and 2.50 PLN (0.63 euro)/kg for 65 +.
Price of table grapes imported from Italy was 65 PLN (16.25 euro)/7 kg. Price of white seedless grapes imported from Turkey was 37 PLN (9.25 euro)/5 kg.
Prices of citruses remained stable. Prices of lemons from Spain and Turkey were 3.70-3.80 PLN (0.92-0.95 euro)/kg and 2.50-3.20 PLN (0.62-0.81 euro)/kg respectively.
Price of oranges imported from Spain was 3.80-4.00 PLN (0.95-1.00 euro)/kg. Prices of Spanish mandarins were 2.80-4.20 PLN (0.70-1.05 euro)/kg depending on size and quality. The price of grapefruit were as follows: 4.06 PLN (1.01 euro)/kg for fruit imported from Israel 4.25 PLN (1.06 euro)/kg for fruit from Spain and 4.33 PLN (1.08 euro)/kg for fruit from Turkey.
Prices of bananas again increased. Their price grew by 7 % week-on-week and reached 64 PLN (16 euro)/box.
