When the prices of apples will be stable?

This year season for desert apples is untypical. Quite a lot of varieties were ripen in the same time and now quite a lot of apples are falling down the trees.

According to the fruit growers the apples are too cheap and incomes don't often cover the production costs. At the moment prices cannot stabilize, differences in prices of individual varieties reach even several dozen cents. On Thursday prices ranged from 0.18 EUR/kg (Cortland 70+, for the export, with the packaging) to 0.44 EUR/kg (Golden Delicious 75+, with the packaging, for the export). Delikates and Paula Red from cold stores are still on the market. One can expect the price at the turn of November and December when on the market the most popular export varieties would dominate (Idared).
