When will start purchase of strawberries for industrial processing?

Preliminary date of the beginning of purchase of strawberries for industrial processing is 7 – 10th June in south and central regions of Poland. In northern Poland purchase will start later probably near 18th June.

It is difficult to forecast prices at the begging of purchase but it is probable that prices will be lower than last year.

Yesterday average price of strawberries Class 1st was 3.25 EUR/chip basket and strawberries Class 2nd 1.78 – 2.07 EUR/chip basket.
