Will the high prices of cauliflowers stay?

An improvement in the weather conditions is giving hope for better growth of cauliflowers. But rains and low temperature caused certain losses on fields.
The considerable part of cauliflowers has small heads and they will be intended for processing. Additionally cauliflowers were affected by fungi diseases. So far prices of cauliflowers are at the high level. On Tuesday, September 30th price of cauliflowers packed in cardboard boxes was 0.44 - 0.59 EUR/piece depending on the region of Poland. Still locally one can observe that the supply of cauliflowers doesn’t meet the demand of the wholesale market.
