Moscow: increase in bananas prices

Last week on the wholesale market of fresh fruits and vegetables in Moscow in general could be observed volatility of the most popular position on the market. For example, it was noted a jump in prices for bananas from Ecuador. Due to the scarcity of the product in the capital, prices increased from 36 (0,95 euros) to 39-40 rubles (1,02-1,05 euros) per kilo. Market players expected an increase in commodity supply by the end of the week that was supposed to lead to lower prices. But at the end of the week it did not happen.
