High demand for Polish pears

Most companies stopped selling pears and fruit-growers sold all supplies. The season is coming up to end but there are still some buyers interested in our domestic fruits.

Why? In the Western Europe there is much higher supply of pears and importers offer fruits from Argentina but Polish ones have much more attractive price.

The average price of Polish pear is 3.00 PLN/kg. Conference pears cost a bit more and Lukasowka bit less.

Pears from Holland or Belgium are much more expensive. Conference, for example, costs 4.00 - 4.50 PLN/kg (more than 1 EUR/kg).

Price makes the difference and that's why there are still buyers interested in Polish fruits.
