The purchase prices of beetroots

This year production of beetroots is forecasted at the level of 320 thousand ton i.e. by 15 percent less than in 2007. In spite of lower crops prices of beetroots a little bit lower than in 2007.

This week the average purchase price is 0.12 euro/kg and last year at the same time price was 0.13 euro/kg. This week in the area of Nowy Sącz price of beetroots is lower by 0.014 euro/kg and is 0.17 euro/kg and in the area of Krosno price is lower by 0.014-0.022 euro/kg and is 0.11-0.13 euro/kg. In łódzkie province the purchase price of beetroots is (0.084 euro/kg) and in podlaskie province 0.11 euro/kg). In the area of Warsaw the price is 0.14 euro/kg.
