We are already in the first half of November and the situation in the apple trade in the Polish market is starting to change.

The situation on the export apple market has recently started to change. Harvesting is over and, as you can see, the purchase of fruit for almost nothing as well. Now the regular trade in apples is in progress and prices are slowly returning to the real level. This does not mean that their level is already acceptable to the fruit grower, but it is more expensive than at the end of October.

This is particularly true for a few varieties, such as Golden Delicious or Gala, but a slight increase in prices is also happening in the case of Red Jonaprince, which everyone has already written off this year. Of course, the price increase is not big, but it starts to break out of the "reds".

At the end of October, for "Prince" for sorting in caliber 70+ one could get up to 0,13 EUR per kilogram. Today it is about 0,02- 0,04 EUR more expensive.

Today in Poland, for apples of the Red Jonaprince variety in caliber 70+ (fruit in sorting boxes) you can get from 0,13 to 0,16 EUR per kilogram. In the case of apples on so-called ready-made cartons prepared for trade, the prices range from 0.16 to a maximum of 0.21 EUR per kilogram, depending on the quality of the fruit and the demand for it. Red Jonaprince has also become more expensive on the stock exchanges and today it is offered at a price from 2,80 to 4,19 EUR per wooden box.
