Prices of bananas down

Prices of bananas have been rising for almost two months. This week they went down. The drop isn't significant but satisfying.

Last week prices decreased in average at 4%. Currently bananas Favorita or Bonita are being offered by direct importers at the price of 88.00 - 90.00 PLN/ 18 kg box (4.89 - 5.00 PLN/ kg). Bananas from Colombia cost 87.00 - 89.00 PLN/ 18kg box (4.83 4.94 PLN/kg).

Prices of bananas Chiquita have also stabilized. Today in a small wholesale they are at the level of 95.00 - 98.00 PLN/ 18 kg box (5.28 - 5.44 PLN/ kg).
