Bigger production of apple concentrate

IERiGŻ estimates that in Poland the production of apple concentrate in season 2008/2009 will amount to 215 thousand ton i.e. by about 54 % more than in season 2007 / 2008.

The export of concentrate is estimated at 230 thousand ton against 118.5 thousand ton in the previous season. In spite of downward trend in world wide demand for apple concentrate, low prices of raw material in the current season and the expected decline in value of Polish currency should result in higher profitability of production of apple concentrate in Poland.
