Cheap and tasty tomatoes from Turkey

At the moment on the Polish market there are a lot of tomatoes imported from Turkey. It is caused mainly by lower price of these tomatoes than price of tomatoes from Spain or Morocco. But Turkish tomatoes have also better taste and appearance and they are almost like Polish tomatoes and as a result they are in big demand from buyers.

On Monday, March 15 the price of Turkish tomatoes was 29 - 31 PLN (7.43-7.95 €)/carton 6 kg (size G). On the market first Polish tomatoes are already available but their prices are obviously much higher. On Monday the price of Polish tomatoes size BB was 100 PLN (25.64 €)/ carton 6 kg and tomatoes of size BBB - 110 PLN (28.20 €)/carton 6 kg.
