Cultivated mushrooms are going down

This week purchase prices of cultivated mushrooms in companies delivering them to the retail market have downward trends. In małopolskie province purchase price of cultivated mushrooms (in boxes of 3 kg) decreased from 1.86 EUR/kg last week to 1.71 EUR/kg.

In podkarpackie province prices lowered from 2.17 EUR/kg to 1.71 EUR/kg. In podlaskie province purchase prices decreased from 1.66 EUR/kg to 1.51 EUR/kg. Decline in prices is caused by reducing demand for cultivated mushrooms during the summer as well as problems with their quality.
