Decrease in onion’s price

Price of onion decreased at the end of the last week due to low demand and poor quality of most ofdomestic product entering the market. Additionally on the market there are a lot of onion from Holland at the low price.  The wholesale price of Dutch onion at the Warsaw wholesale market in Bronisze was 1.30 PLN (0.33 euro)/kg. The cost of import of such onion was 0.80 PLN (0.20 euro)/kg (including transport cost).
