Decrease in prices of tomatoes

Deliveries of tomatoes from Turkey influenced the prices of tomatoes imported from Spain. On Friday, March 12, the wholesale price of tomatoes from Turkey was about 28 PLN (7.20 €)/carton 6 kg (size G). Although Spanish tomatoes still remain more expensive than Turkish ones, their price decreased from 52 - 54 PLN (13.38-13.88 €)/carton 6 kg to about 40 PLN (10.28 €)/carton 6 kg (size G) depending on quality.
