Domestic cucumbers – first sign of new season

Polish greenhouse cucumbers are the first major sign of the new season. Although national cucumbers are still expensive, their prices are no longer shocking.

On Monday, March 1, the price of domestic long cucumbers was 9.00 – 9.50 PLN (2.28-2.41 €)/kg, and thus slightly more expensive than last week, when the price went down to 8 PLN (2.03 €)/kg. The minimum price of short cucumbers was 10 PLN (2.54 €)/kg.
