Export of tomatoes in 2008

In the period from January to November 2008 Poland exported about 81 thousand t of tomatoes. Great Britain and Lithuania were the main recipients of Polish tomatoes (22 % of total export) but in the case of Lithuania Polish tomatoes are rather re-exported to Russia.

In November 2008 the export price of tomatoes was 0.80 euro/kg and it was by about 5 % lower than in November 2007.
