Gala – the most expensive apples

At the moment export companies are purchasing apples of all varieties but the biggest demand is for Gala as these apples are favourite apples among Russian consumers. Currently the purchase price of Gala are the highest and they are as follows: 1.50 PLN (0.38 euro)/kg for 60+, 1.70 PLN (0.43 euro)/kg for 65 + and even 2.00 PLN (0.51 euro)/kg for 70 +. Such prices level seems to be quite satisfactory at the beginning of export season but it is interesting what the price for this variety will be at the beginning of the next year.
