Heavy crop of plums in the south of Poland

There is a heavy crop of plums in podkarpackie province. Many producers aren't picking fruit because of too low prices.

On Monday, September 1st price of plums of 3+ size was about 0.18 - 0.21 EUR/kg and price of plums (4+ calibre) was about 0.30 - 0.33 EUR/kg. Price of plums for processing (3+ calibre) are 0.12 - 0.13 EUR/kg, while last year price was about 0.39 EUR/kg.
