High prices of domestic sweet peppers

The bad weather is also unfavourable for domestic sweet peppers. On the market it is harder to buy wholesale quantities of sweet peppers. That’s why their prices stay at the high level.

On Wednesday, September 17th in the area of Radom price of red and yellow sweet peppers of 1st class, packed into cardboard boxes of 5 kg was 1.02 – 1.05 EUR/kg, price of white sweet peppers was 0.81 EUR/kg and price of green ones was 0.72 EUR/kg.

On the wholesale markets price of red sweet peppers packed in plastic bags fluctuated from 0.72 to 1,20 EUR/kg and price of green peppers from 0.41to 1,20 EUR/kg.
