High prices of imported leeks

Prices of imported leeks increased last days due to higher prices in Holland but also due to low quality of domestic product what influence demand for imported product. On Thursday, December 2, the price of Dutch leeks was 3.00-3.50 PLN (0.75-0.87 euro)/kg i.e. by 0.50 PLN (0.12 euro)/kg more than in November. The price of domestic leeks was 1.80-2.20 PLN (0.45-0.55 euro)/kg but the supply of good quality product is low.
