High supply of cucumbers

On the market one can observe huge supply of cucumbers both domestic and imported. And the demand is not sufficient, specially for long imported cucumbers even though their price is quite low – 15 PLN (3.75 euro)/4.5 kg. Price of Polish cucumbers is also much lower than two or three weeks ago. On Wednesday, March 30, the price of long cucumbers was 3.50-4.00 PLN (0.87-1.00 euro)/kg and short – 3.80-4.50 PLN (0.95-1.12 euro)/kg.
