Higher prices of celeriac

The price of washed celeriac goes up due to the cold as well as higher demand. Low temperatures caused lower supply of washed vegetables, including celeriac. Low supply conduces increasing prices.

In mazowieckie and kujawsko-pomorskie provinces the price of washed celeriac is about 1.00 PLN/ kg. In wielkopolskie and łódzkie provincesthe price is 0.80 – 0.90 PLN/ kg. As usually lower prices are in małopolskie province – 0.70 – 0.80 PLN/kg what is good price in comparison to January when the price was at level of 0.50 PLN/kg.
