Hot weather adverse for strawberries

The demand for strawberries is huge both from domestic market and export companies. However there is lack of very good quality product due to hot weather which adversely influences fruit. On Thursday, May 2, the price of strawberries was 6- 12 PLN (1.51-3.02 euro)/2 kg for fruit growing under protection and 9 – 12 PLN (2.27-3.02 euro)/2 kg for field strawberries of better quality.
