Increase in prices of cucumbers expected

Prices of greenhouse cucumbers had been low for a long time. On Wednesday morning, prices fell again and price of long cucumbers was from 2.00 to 2.75 PLN (0.50-0.68 €)/kg. The price of short cucumbers was 2.50 – 3.00 PLN (0.62-0.75 €)/kg. However, the market expect that this downward trend will reverse in coming days due to high demand for cucumbers. Traders estimates that prices of cucumbers should increase by around 0.50 PLN (0.12 €)/kg.
