Increase in prices of sweet pepper and zucchini in Moscow

Last week on the wholesale market in Moscow one could observe increase in prices of some imported vegetables. Price of green pepper from Holland and Spain grew from 73-78 rubles (1.72-1.84 euro) to 85-90 rubles (2.01-2.12 euro) per kg due to the reduction in supply and relatively stable demand. Prices of zucchini imported from Spain increased to 82-87 rubles (1.94-2.05 euro) per kg and the price of zucchini imported from Turkey - from 70-75 rubles (1.65-1.77 euro) up to 77-82 rubles (1.82-1.94 euro) per kg. In the second half of the week also price of Spanish eggplants increased – from 68-75 (1.61-1.77 euro) up to 80-85 rubles (1.89-2.01 euro) per kg.
