Increase in prices of vegetables imported from Spain

After period of decreasing prices of vegetables imported from Spain caused by low demand, importers started increasing their prices. Increase was necessary because vegetables from new deliveries were more expensive due to lower supply and higher prices in Spain. On Monday, January 31 the wholesale price of tomatoes was 34-36 PLN (8.65-9.16 euro)/6 kg, price of long cucumbers was 25-26 PLN (6.36-6.61 euro)/4,5 kg and price of red bell pepper was 38-40 PLN (9.67-10.18 euro)/5 kg.
