Low prices of field-grown tomatoes

In podkarpackie province purchase prices of filed-grown tomatoes dropped below 0.30 EUR/kg (0.18 - 0.24 EUR/kg).

In the area of Sandomierz producers of tomatoes are also complaining about very low purchase and wholesale prices of tomatoes. On the wholesale market in Sandomierz prices fluctuated from 0.15 to 0.18 EUR/kg. However on marketplaces prices were much higher: 0.60 – 0.75 EUR/kg in Klimontowo and even 0.90 EUR/kg in Opatów.

On the wholesale market in Bronisze prices are also low 0.18 - 0.30 EUR/kg. On the wholesale market in Białystok prices are at the level of 0.27 - 0.48 EUR/kg, in Poznań 0.30 - 0.34 EUR/kg, and in Rzeszów 0.33 - 0.48 EUR/kg.

Purchase prices of field-grown tomatoes for concentrate decreased to 0.12 EUR/kg and of tomatoes for deep-freezing to 0.15 - 0.16 EUR/kg.
