Lower supply of Spanish pepper, higher prices

Last winter hit in Spain strongly affected the production of sweet peppers what resulted in lower supply of this vegetable. Last week clearly smaller shipments of pepper came to Poland and of course it resulted in higher prices.  On Friday, March 19, on the wholesale market in Bronisze the price of good quality red peppers imported from Spain was at least 55 PLN (14.14 €)/5 kg.
