Onion for processing

In food-processing plants the purchase prices of peeled onion started decreasing due to lower demand from West-European recipients.

At the moment in plants in kujawsko-pomorskie province the price of peeled onion slightly lowered to 0.19 - 0.20 euro/kg for onion delivered to the plant.

However the purchase prices are already lower than in the same period 2007 and processing industry predicts greater decline in the purchase prices of peeled onion at the beginning of 2009.
