Oranges on the Polish market in 1st week of 2009

In the first week of January Poland imported about 4.5 thousand t oranges from Spain. Total import oranges from Greece and Turkey amounted to about 2,8 thousand t.

Price of oranges from Spain on the wholesale market in Lublin was 3.95 PLN (0.95 euro)/kg and on the wholesale market in Sandomierz 3.80 PLN (0.92 euro)/kg. On the wholesale market in Poznań one could buy oranges from Greece in boxes of 10 kg at price 3.92 PLN (0.95 euro)/kg.
